Our vessels have acquired International Safety Management (ISM) Code certificates for safe operation of ships and for pollution prevention. Company History
Pre-war Yoshiharu Hasebe founded the predecessor of Tokei Kaiun Ltd. in Namikata town,
owned and operated the first motorsailer.
1953 Mar Yasutoshi Hasebe(current Director and Senior Advisor) succeed to the business.
1964 Nov The company was incorporated as Tokei Kaiun Ltd.
Yasutoshi Hasebe(current Director and Senior Advisor) was inaugurated as CEO.
1965 Launched the first domestic steel vessel
1969 Launched the first ocean-going vessel
1974 Launched ‘’ASIAN PRINCESS’’, 324TEU ocean going container vessel
1982 Launched 550TEU container chartered by Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha
